Refund & Cancellation Policy

Effective Date: June 24, 2026  |  Last Updated: June 27, 2026

Welcome to NexDeys.

This Refund & Cancellation Policy ("Policy") explains the rules governing cancellations, refunds, booking modifications, Reservation Amounts, Platform Fees, NexCash adjustments, payment settlements, and related transactions made through the NexDeys Platform.

By creating an account, making a booking, paying any amount through the Platform, or using NexDeys services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Policy together with the Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.

Nothing contained in this Policy shall restrict any statutory rights available under applicable Indian law.

1. Marketplace Nature of the Platform

NexDeys (OPC) Private Limited operates a technology-enabled marketplace that connects Users with independent third-party automotive service providers ("Vendors").

NexDeys itself does not own or operate vehicle service centres and does not independently perform vehicle washing, detailing, repairs, servicing, inspections, diagnostics, roadside assistance, or any other automotive services listed on the Platform.

Accordingly, refund decisions may depend upon:

  • booking status;
  • Vendor acceptance;
  • slot reservation;
  • service commencement;
  • payment status;
  • operational records;
  • fraud review;
  • applicable law; and
  • this Policy.

2. Definitions

For the purpose of this Policy:

Booking means any service reservation successfully created through the NexDeys Platform.

Reservation Amount means the amount paid by a User to confirm and reserve a booking slot where full advance payment is not required.

Platform Fee means the technology service fee charged by NexDeys for facilitating bookings through the Platform.

Vendor Service Amount means the amount payable to the Vendor towards services booked by the User.

Full Payment Booking means a booking where the User pays the entire payable amount through the Platform before service.

Partial Payment Booking means a booking where the User pays only the Reservation Amount while the remaining balance is payable later.

No-Show means failure of a User to utilise the confirmed booking without valid cancellation in accordance with this Policy.

3. Payment Types

Bookings made through NexDeys may be completed using one of the following payment methods:

  • Reservation Amount only;
  • Full Advance Payment;
  • Split Settlement Payments;
  • Online Payments;
  • UPI;
  • Debit Card;
  • Credit Card;
  • Net Banking;
  • Wallet Payments;
  • Cashless Payment Systems; or
  • any other payment method introduced by NexDeys.

Refund eligibility may differ depending upon the payment method used.

4. Free Cancellation Window

Users may cancel a booking free of charge within one (1) minute of successful booking confirmation, provided that:

  • the booking has not entered service preparation;
  • the Vendor has not commenced operational processing for the booking;
  • fraud indicators are not detected; and
  • the booking otherwise satisfies the eligibility requirements under this Policy.

Eligible cancellations within the Free Cancellation Window shall receive a full refund of all eligible amounts paid.

Refunds shall be processed through the original payment method or by another method permitted under this Policy.

5. Cancellation After Free Cancellation Window

Bookings cancelled after the Free Cancellation Window but before commencement of service shall be governed by the following principles.

Where cancellation occurs between one (1) minute and three (3) minutes after booking confirmation, eligible Users may receive a partial refund after deduction of applicable cancellation charges intended to compensate operational slot reservation and Vendor allocation.

The exact refundable amount shall depend upon:

  • booking stage;
  • Reservation Amount paid;
  • Platform Fee;
  • applicable taxes;
  • Vendor preparation;
  • payment processing status;
  • promotional benefits utilised;
  • NexCash adjustments; and
  • operational records.

Cancellations made after the above period are not automatically eligible for refunds and shall be subject to manual review by NexDeys.

6. Reservation Amount

Where Users reserve a booking by paying only the Reservation Amount, such payment confirms the User's intention to utilise the reserved service slot.

The Reservation Amount contributes towards:

  • securing Vendor availability;
  • blocking operational capacity;
  • reducing fraudulent bookings;
  • supporting booking verification;
  • facilitating marketplace operations; and
  • technology platform services.

Refundability of the Reservation Amount shall depend upon:

  • cancellation timing;
  • Vendor acceptance;
  • booking status;
  • no-show determination;
  • fraud review;
  • service commencement; and
  • this Policy.

Payment of the Reservation Amount does not relieve the User of the obligation to pay the remaining balance for services successfully rendered.

7. Full Payment Bookings

Where the User chooses to pay the full booking amount in advance, the booking shall be treated as a Full Payment Booking.

Refund eligibility shall depend upon:

  • cancellation timing;
  • booking status;
  • Vendor actions;
  • service commencement;
  • OTP verification;
  • applicable deductions;
  • Platform Fee;
  • taxes;
  • promotional adjustments; and
  • this Policy.

Approved refunds may include the Vendor Service Amount, Reservation Amount (where applicable), Platform Fee (where eligible), and applicable taxes, after permissible deductions under this Policy.

8. Partial Payment Bookings

Where only the Reservation Amount is paid at the time of booking, the remaining balance shall become payable through the Platform, directly to the Vendor, or through any payment mechanism communicated during checkout.

Failure to pay the remaining balance after successful completion of service may result in:

  • booking disputes;
  • recovery proceedings where legally permissible;
  • account restrictions;
  • suspension of future bookings;
  • withholding of promotional benefits; or
  • other actions permitted under the Terms & Conditions.

Refund eligibility for Partial Payment Bookings shall be determined independently from Full Payment Bookings based upon the operational stage reached before cancellation.

9. No-Show Policy

A booking shall be treated as a No-Show where the User:

  • fails to arrive at the Vendor location within the scheduled booking window;
  • fails to complete the required arrival verification process;
  • refuses to commence the booked service after successful slot reservation;
  • leaves the Vendor location without availing the booked service without an approved cancellation; or
  • otherwise abandons the booking.

Since Vendors reserve operational capacity exclusively for confirmed bookings, a No-Show may result in the Reservation Amount being forfeited either wholly or partially in accordance with this Policy.

Repeated No-Shows may also result in:

  • temporary suspension of booking privileges;
  • restrictions on future Reservation Amount options;
  • mandatory advance payment requirements;
  • reduction of promotional benefits;
  • suspension of NexCash rewards; or
  • permanent account restrictions in cases of repeated abuse.

10. Late Arrival Policy

Users are expected to arrive at the Vendor location within the scheduled booking window.

Where a User anticipates delay, the User should notify the Vendor through the Platform where possible.

If a User arrives significantly after the scheduled booking time, the Vendor may:

  • accommodate the booking based on operational availability;
  • reschedule the booking;
  • place the User in the next available slot; or
  • decline service where operational capacity no longer permits.

Refund eligibility for late arrivals shall depend upon the circumstances of each booking and this Policy.

11. Vendor Cancellation

If a Vendor:

  • cancels a confirmed booking;
  • fails to honour the booking;
  • is unavailable during the confirmed slot;
  • is unable to provide the booked service due to operational reasons; or
  • refuses service without a valid reason,

the User shall generally be eligible for a refund of all eligible amounts paid for that booking.

Where appropriate, NexDeys may also assist the User in booking another available Vendor through the Platform.

Repeated Vendor cancellations may result in operational penalties, reduced visibility on the Platform, temporary suspension, or permanent removal from the marketplace.

12. Platform Cancellation

NexDeys may cancel a booking where reasonably necessary, including but not limited to:

  • technical failures;
  • duplicate bookings;
  • payment verification issues;
  • fraud prevention measures;
  • Vendor suspension;
  • force majeure events;
  • operational limitations;
  • safety concerns; or
  • circumstances beyond the reasonable control of NexDeys.

Where a booking is cancelled by NexDeys and the User is not responsible for the cancellation, eligible payments shall ordinarily be refunded in accordance with this Policy.

13. Payment Failure Protection

Where payment is successfully debited from the User but a booking is not generated due to technical failure, payment gateway interruption, banking error, or system malfunction, NexDeys shall investigate the transaction.

Upon successful verification, the affected payment shall be refunded or otherwise adjusted, as appropriate.

Processing timelines may depend upon banking partners, payment gateways, and financial institutions.

14. OTP Verification & Service Commencement

For operational integrity and fraud prevention, certain bookings may require OTP verification.

The Start OTP signifies that:

  • the User has arrived at the Vendor location;
  • the Vendor is ready to commence the booked service; and
  • the booking has entered the service execution stage.

Once the Start OTP has been successfully verified, the booking shall ordinarily be treated as having commenced.

Cancellation requests submitted after successful Start OTP verification may not be eligible for refunds except where required by applicable law or where otherwise approved by NexDeys after review.

Completion OTP (where applicable) serves as confirmation that the service has been completed or substantially completed.

15. Service Commencement

Once a Vendor has commenced work on the booked service, refund eligibility may become limited.

Service commencement may include, without limitation:

  • vehicle acceptance by the Vendor;
  • Start OTP verification;
  • commencement of washing;
  • commencement of detailing;
  • commencement of repairs;
  • commencement of diagnostics;
  • commencement of maintenance work;
  • commencement of inspection; or
  • any other operational activity indicating that the booked service has begun.

Refunds after service commencement shall be considered only under exceptional circumstances or where required under applicable law.

16. Booking Modifications

Users may request modification of a booking, including rescheduling, subject to Vendor availability and operational feasibility.

Approval of modification requests shall remain at the discretion of the Vendor and NexDeys.

Additional charges may apply where modifications significantly alter the booking.

Modification requests do not automatically entitle the User to a refund.

17. Vendor Delays

Estimated service timings displayed on the Platform are intended solely as operational estimates.

Delays may occur due to:

  • customer volume;
  • weather conditions;
  • traffic;
  • equipment issues;
  • staff shortages;
  • water availability;
  • electricity interruptions;
  • emergencies; or
  • other unforeseen operational circumstances.

Where significant delays occur, NexDeys may assist Users in coordinating with the Vendor, rescheduling the booking, or exploring other available options.

Refunds shall be determined based upon the specific facts of each case and this Policy.

18. Split Payment & Settlements

Payments made through the Platform may be processed using automated marketplace settlement mechanisms.

Where payments have already been settled or partially settled to a Vendor through an authorised payment gateway, refunds may require operational verification before processing.

NexDeys shall make commercially reasonable efforts to process eligible refunds in accordance with this Policy, applicable payment gateway procedures, and applicable law.

The timing of refunds may depend upon payment gateway processing, banking institutions, and settlement status.

19. Applicable Taxes & Platform Charges

The total amount displayed during checkout may include applicable taxes, Platform Fees, Reservation Amounts, promotional adjustments, discounts, and other charges, where applicable.

Refunds shall be calculated based on the actual amounts paid, applicable deductions permitted under this Policy, and the nature of the cancelled transaction.

The existence or calculation of any Platform Fee or applicable tax does not independently create a right to a refund.
